As Marketing Communications Leader, Alice supports the Big Innovation Centre (BIC)’s communications and marketing with all stakeholder groups. She is responsible for building the BIC’s brand, as well as raising awareness of its portfolio of programmes and subsidiary businesses, thereby working primarily in B2B marcomms.

Alice has over 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital, research, fieldwork, policy, fundraising, and a particular focus on building relationships with local and international stakeholders, across such fields as innovation and development, investment and finance, education and human rights, children and young people.

Throughout her career, Alice was constantly involved in nonprofits and social impact work. As such, before joining BIC, she was fundraising for Amnesty International UK, developing the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER)’s impact journey and at the same time volunteering for Reprieve. Recently, she joined the Techfugees community, where she volunteers to support the development of local chapters.

Having worked in both national and international NGOs, as well as public and private sector organisations, Alice brings a proven track record in showcasing social impact and establishing relationships, even where it is considered to be virtually impossible. Highly optimistic about the role, she is full of enthusiasm to innovate, initiate and deliver by bringing new ideas and supporters on board.

Alice holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from King’s College, London and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Global Politics from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
