Disruptive Forces: Artificial Intelligence Big Innovation Centre

23 October 2015 | 12:00 – 16:00

The latest Disruptive Forces session is on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and this time with a difference. This session will be a Hackmaster Class. We are delighted to offer Big Innovation Centre partners a 3 hour session facilitated by HACKMASTERS on scenario prototyping of the impact that machine learning and AI will have on business.

Date: Friday 23 October 2015

Time: 12:00 – 15:00

This event is primarily for Big Innovation Centre partners. 30 places are available so we may need to restrict places to 2 per organisation.

The Hackmaster Class will be facilitated by:

SAHER SIDHOM | FOUNDER & CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER
Described by The Independent as a ‘business futurist”, Saher set up Hackmasters, a technology and design network, with a simple principle: Speed is Good. This was born out of the need for companies big and small to be built up and set up to match their speed of growth with the speed of the technologies that will drive that growth in their immediate future.

A provocation on the future landscape will be provided by:

DMYTRO KARAMSHUK | DATA SCIENTIST PHD @ KING’S COLLEGE LONDON
Dmytro's research is focused on understanding digital traces of Internet users to assist the design of future generation networks. He has previously worked on analyzing viewing patterns of the BBC iPlayer users and mining geo-location social networks for geographic retail analysis. He is a published and respected expert in the artificial intelligence
community.

The afternoon will involve practical discussions and sharing of expertise and issues on the state of the various technologies related to AI and future trajectories.
