London Creative and Digital Fusion
London Creative and Digital Fusion is a programme of interactive, tailored and in-depth support for creative and digital SMEs across London. Providing links to talent, expertise and resources from leading-edge universities and colleges, the programme will be open to ambitious, growth focused SMEs.
What?
London Fusion recognises the growth opportunities from the widespread availability of digital and mobile technologies to deliver creative content and services to wider markets and generate new business models. By listening to and working alongside the companies themselves and their existing networks, London Fusion will provide relevant and focused support to more than 1,000 SMEs over a two-year period.
When?
Events will be taking place across London from September 2012 to June 2014.
How?
London Fusion will offer three levels of support to SMEs:
Inspire - events that will showcase new thinking on business models and management as well as technologies and markets. They will offer the opportunity to listen to entrepreneurs and experts on emerging trends
Fuse - in-depth support through 1-2-1 mentoring, student projects, entrepreneurial learning and interactive training on specialist areas such as service design and management for innovation. SMEs on the programme can also join facilitated workshops which use the latest techniques for creative thinking and developing ideas for business growth
Create - Innovation Vouchers worth up to £10k for individual or partnering SMEs to purchase intensive support from leading higher education institutions and research organisations across London and to harness post-graduate student talent. Tailored and in depth support to qualify for, link to and prepare for obtaining funds from external sources
